My approach is strengths-based, collaborative, and grounded in respect for your pace and voice. Rather than focusing only on what feels wrong, I work with clients to explore their values, hopes, inner resources, and the kind of growth they want to create.
I know therapy can feel intimidating, especially when you are just getting started. Because of that, I take time to build a strong therapeutic relationship and understand what helps you feel safe, supported, and genuinely seen.
Grounded Support. Meaningful Change.
How Therapy With Me Feels
Therapy with me feels warm, collaborative, and human. I bring humor, compassion, curiosity, and a deep respect for your lived experience into the therapy room.
I believe meaningful therapy starts with feeling safe enough to be yourself. When we begin working together, I want to understand not only what brings you to therapy, but also how therapy feels for you. We will talk about what helps you feel comfortable, what you may need from me, and how we can make the process feel supportive and productive.I also believe healing does not always have to feel heavy. While therapy can include serious reflection and hard conversations, it can also include moments of lightness, creativity, laughter, and connection.
With children, I may use games, ice breakers, and playful engagement to help them feel more comfortable. With teens and adults, I thoughtfully use humor and warmth when it helps build trust and make therapy feel more approachable. At the heart of my work is meeting you where you are. I believe you are the expert in your own life, and my role is to walk alongside you with support, encouragement, insight, and belief in your capacity for growth.
