Insurance

We will verify insurance information prior to your first appointment. This is done as a courtesy to support you in knowing your financial obligation prior to your first appointment. We make every effort for this to be as accurate as possible but cannot guarantee this information. It is ultimately up to you to confirm your financial obligation. You will ultimaely be responsible for any charges not accepted by insurance.

Please ensure that you have updated us with any new information prior to your appointment and throughout your work with us to ensure acccuracy and transparency. If you have more than one insurance it is imperative that we be made aware prior to any service provided or you will be subject to full payment of service provided. In some instances, we are obligated to do secondary insurance billing.

We do not take insurance for Relationship & Marriage Counseling.

All services are out of pocket and we cannot guarantee Out of Network Reimbursement.

Self-Pay

Payment is due at time of service. Services may not be scheduled moving forward it a balance remains. If the client opts into self-pay, the client is agreeing to our full fee rates.

If the client decides to begin using an insurance that we take, the client must notify us prior to their next appointment AND we will not be responsible for back-billing.

Out of Network

Clients may choose to be seen using their out of network insurance benefits. Many times clients have a 70%-80% out of network coverage benefit, which means the client ends up on owing a small portion of the service. If you are unsure of what this means please reach out to us and we can support you in understanding how this benefit works.

We will make every effort to verify your coverage and responsibilty prior to first appointment. At times insurance may not provide coverage information and the client will be responsible for doing so.

At time of service, payment is due in full based on rates above. We will provide client with a superbill to be submitted to their insurance carrier in order to receive reimbursement. We encourage clients to consider using services like Reimbursify or Nirvana which can support you in receiving your reimbursement from your benefits. We are not an affliate of either service.

Good Faith Estimate

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost if you do not have insurance or are not using your insurance. This will be provided to you at minimal one (1) business day before your service.

If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. For more information regarding Good Faith Estimates please visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
