FAQ

Will I receive a reminder email or call?

Yes, if you opt into either email, text, or phone calls reminders you will receive that reminder through our electronic health record system.

You have the ability to change this at any time by logging into the client portal.

Please note that this calling system now allows us to be notified if you are cancelling 24 hours prior to your appointment, however not if it is less than 24 hours- you must do that by contacting our office or your therapist directly.

How do I get to your office?

We are located at 3100F Mountain Road in Pasadena, MD. 21122

The nearest place is the Pizza Hut off Mountain Road.

What are sessions like?

Typically our first session is information gathering. We know you take time to complete paperwork prior to starting with us. We review that information and use our first session to help us connect the dots to better assist you in developing your treatment goals. We encourage you to come to session with things pertinent to your counseling sessions. We have a fairly relaxed environment so feel free to grab a fidget, put your feet up and get comfortable with your therapist.

For children/teens, we request parent/guardian be present for first part of the initial session.

How many sessions will I receive?

Counseling length will depend on many factors. We base this off of the goals you set for counseling and helping you acheive those goals.

Benefits of Telehealth versus In-Person Sessions

Telehealth has been proven to be just as effective in helping clients acheive their goals as in-person sessions. Telehealth does require you to feel comfortable in your surroundings as well as having working equipment.

What are your office hours?

We have therapists who work various shifts throughout the week. We are open from 8am-8pm Monday through Thursday; Friday 8am-6pm and Saturday 8am-4pm. Each therapist has a different schedule .
